In Chicago an annual meeting (second half of May) is organized to support utilizers of the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strenghth (CANS) method to facilitate the exchange of information and to stimulate strategic planning. As part of this meeting trainings in the INTERMED method are organized. They will be announced well in advance on this website as well as on the CANS website.
The European Association for Consultation Liaison Psychiary and Psychosomatic organizes annual meetings. In conjunction with these meetings trainings in the INTERMED method are organized. The workshops will be announced well in advance on this website as well as on the EACLPP website.
Starting October 2006 in the Netherlands annual INTERMED courses will be organized to update users, train those who are interested, exchange ideas, stimulate implementation and research. The courses are organized by the Wenckebach institute and announced on their website. The first course is planned on Monday October 30, 2006.
Web-based training
Web-based training facilities are under development. The planning is to have the following facilities
- training cases available in several languages
- testcases to qualify as a reliable rater
