Software

  • The Intermed methodology is supported by software. This software is released under the Gnu Public License (see http://www.fsf.org/ for details). This means that source code of this software can be obtained and modified to specific idividual needs. However, we strongly suggest individuals and institutions who want to use the software to become a member of the INTERMED Foundation. It guarrantees that requirements and features needed by individuals or individual institutions are considered for their generic applicability in order to be merged into the software. Thereby all members enjoy the maximum benefit in terms of new features.

  • Supporting documentation for the current software can be found here.
  • The current available software will be rewritten between now and January 2007 for up to date web-based facilities in 8 languages will become available for clinical care and web-based training. It is suggested to wait for this new released software. However for urgent needs one can contact info@INTERMEDfoundation.org. See also "Members and Membership".

  • In the new version two important new features will enhance the data-entry:
    1. A clinician/researcher entry module will follow the structure of the INTERMED interview which will facilitate bedside documentation, and
    2. A touchscreen patient (or next of kin) dataentry module developped with intelligent software, which will allow patients to develop their own risk and needs profile and will facilitate the communication with their providers
